In regards to no food, beverage or gum during the celebration of Mass, I would recommend you reconsider adjust the rule in recognition of children, adults & / seniors who may require water or a snack due to a medical condition ie diabetes. Thanking you in advance for your consideration

    Deacon Alan and Michael,

Several years ago I asked my priest at the time just what to do with broken rosaries, old memorial cards etc. His response was to bury them in the earth with dignity.

    Hi Deacon Alan,
Actually you are quite right-if you have loaded them as JPEG files there is no concern -as the JPEG image essentially acts like a PDF would.
Only concern would be if you were to upload the actual original Word document as mentioned…then anyone could change/edit (even accidentally).
    Sorry for the confusion! 🙂

    Hello Deason Alan,
I think it is a good idea to make these files PDF files prior to posting them online for download. This will preserve the integrity of documents and not allow any changes to be made to the original (and make any unauthorized use of the logos and images a little trickier to pull off).
    Just a suggestion:)

    1. Thank you Alicia for your feedback.
Please forgive me for not understanding. I assume you are referring to the Bulletin postings. I receive them as Word documents which WordPress cannot handle, so I print them and post them as jpegs. Is that a problem? In order to post them as .pdf, I would need the ability to create .pdf which I don’t have (Would I need to purchase Adobe software?). I don’t understand the concern, but I’d like to.

    Hi Parish Team,

I live in an apartment and I have several broken rosaries, how do I properly dispose of them?

    Thanks,
    Michael

    1. Hi Michael,

I don’t have an answer (yet). I believe there are groups that collect and repair rosaries and other sacramental and them give them to people in need. It may be a good idea to place a box at the back of the Church to collect them and then delver them occasionally to such groups. I’ll see what can be done.
      Thanks,
      Deacon Alan

    Hi Parish Team,

Where can we read previous St. Leo’s Parish Bulletins on your website?

Can registered parish members receive our bulletin electronically (PDF format) on a weekly basis via email?

    Thanks,
    Michael

    1. Hi Michael,

The bulletin is sent to me as a Word file which I scan to a jpeg file. I still have the original Word files. It would be most practical to have someone email me and request a previous bulletin which I can email. Maybe I could add the original Word file to the page so that those who are interested could save or print themselves. Perhaps I can add this note to the parish website.
      Thanks,
      Deacon Alan
